My apologies for the short post this week.  We just got back from an exciting trip to beautiful Norway, and this week has been a scramble of getting back to our lives, scrounging for frozen pizzas and chicken nuggets, and resting up from the long journey home (and recovering a bit from the jet lag).

I still haven’t imported all of my photos from my SD cards, so I can’t even tell you how many pictures I took over the 8 days we were there.  Let’s just say I filled two, and I tapped into a third.  The one I have imported has 1142 images.  Between the other two and the many pictures I took with my phone (shame), I’ve probably amassed at least 2500.  I’ll be sure to report on the exact count once I have it (I’m nerdy in that I like numbers like that :)).

As for the actual experience…. incredible.

We saw so many fjords, waterfalls, viewpoints, glaciers, tunnels, ferries, goats, and trails.  Every moment was better than the last.

I posted quite frequently to our Instagram story on our travel account (BIGtinyWorld), and it was a fun new tool for me.  Now, I enjoy looking back at the archive to see our trip highlight-by-highlight.  I’ll probably post a curated summary, so feel free to follow us on social media for the travel updates.

As for the photography – top-notch.  Most days, we were out during the harshest light, so I didn’t get as many epic landscapes as I’d’ve liked.  However, there were no bad views in Norway.

I will have many stories to share with you, immediately following my series on Zion and Bryce.  Follow my blog to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the adventures.

For now, I leave you with this little preview – a mere taste of the wonders that are Norway.
