Another week has flown by!  This one was really crazy, following Thanksgiving last week.  On top of wrapping up Kumoricon pictures, there’s no time to slow down!

I did a few more grid photos this week on Instagram.  How do you like them?

This first one was from the train ride to Denali National Park.  I’m a sucker for reflections, and those low clouds added an extra dynamic.

Greetings all!  Another Friday, another week on Instagram.  Yesterday was Thanksgiving in the States – a day of friends, family, and much feasting (and of course I had my camera close by).  I had only one reasonable plate, but I still managed to eat too much.  It’s tough with so much amazing food!

A very happy Thanksgiving to all of you out there; I’m thankful to have so many people see my photography every week.

As for the photos this week, this first grid photo was from this week’s photo challenge, “experimental.”  I tried something new, that I’ve always been curious to try – focus stacking.  Read all about it and see the final result here.

It’s crazy to think it’s November already.. I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!

This first image was my only true stand-alone this week.  It’s actually a somewhat older picture; we didn’t carve pumpkins this year.  I do enjoy doing it, but I was just too busy with Kumoricon preparations!  I’ll be posting some pictures from that really soon.

Happy Friday the 13th, everyone!  I don’t have any spooky images for you this week, but it’s still a good day!  Historically, Friday the 13ths have always been good days for me; it’s Monday the 13ths I need to watch out for!  It’s October, Halloween is just around the corner (I sort of have a thing for costumes), and autumn is in the air! It is a good day!

Now, to the images from this week on Instagram!

This first one was from our adventure to Alaska.  This was from the train up to Denali.  Look for bear pictures coming to my site in the next few weeks!

Hawaii: Punaluu Beach Park

This is it, folks – the last Hawaii post!  I know some of you are sad about that, but I’m excited to share some photos from some of our other adventures as well.

We took it easy on our last day, making our way back to the Kona side of the big island, stopping into a beach or two, hitting up the southernmost restaurant in the U.S., and wrapping up the trip back at our Puka spot near the airport. Continue reading
