Today is my wedding anniversary. Aaron and I have been married now for 8 years. Crazy to think so much time has passed.
And together, we lead a pretty exciting life. It can be stressful at times with how busy we are, but I love every moment of it; we have so many adventures!
And I love sharing them with you.
This first picture was from our desert road trip last year. We attempted to catch sunrise at Mesa Verde, only to find our way blocked by a gate that didn’t open until 8am – well past sunrise. So we found another spot to explore. Read about that adventure here.
Next is more recent. This was my submission for Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness challenge, an invitation to get out and explore the beautiful world of Costa Rica. These were the steps of our B&B in Alajuela. I’ll be writing about it soon on our travel blog; it was a rare gem to find in the middle of the city.
This one’s from Washington’s Palouse. I loved the clouds that evening, and that expansive view was beyond impressive.
…And back to Costa Rica. Look forward to many more pictures from this trip! Most evenings were clouded in, but we got some occasional peeks at the sun. And when he poked through, the scene was stunning! There’s nothing quite like a beach to instill a sense of relaxation.
I love this one for the detail. Such a tiny thing so easy to overlook, but it fascinated me to no end. Read all about these little guys here.
My two favorite photos this week are from our trip to Crater Lake. This first one features the characteristic gnarled tree – photographers who have visited know this tree well. It certainly is photogenic.
And this last one is actually from Diamond Lake, a campground just outside of Crater Lake National Park, where we stayed for the weekend. I lucked out with this misty morning; you can read about that photostory here.
