I am still recovering from our incredible trip to Norway, so I didn’t post to Instagram as much as I ordinarily would have. In fact, I pretty much just had the few pictures from Norway!
With such a phenomenally beautiful country, one can hardly take a bad photo, so it’s difficult to rank even just these!
This first one I just find so charming. We camped at many campgrounds during our journey through Norway. And this little guy was chilling by the fence to one of them. I grabbed a tuft of grass and wandered over to him, and he happily accepted my gift. Between this and the on-site trampoline (ah, camping in Norway…), I was all sorts of delighted.
Next, this was actually one of my favorite shots from the trip. Most of the time, the weather was just far too sunny to make truly remarkable images, but later in the evening (this was taken at almost 7pm), the light was gentler. I had Aaron stand on this outcropping (as I am wont to do) and marveled at the landscape. The colors and contrast – not to mention the sheer subject matter – take me back to that incredible place and the emotions tied to the experience.
I also posted a few photos to 500px this week. Feel free to follow me there as well!
Finally, I have a little bonus for you. I wrote my very first article for Digital Photography School – a website geared toward educating photographers at all levels.
Writing articles like these is a good way for me to branch out and share some of my knowledge without detracting from the more travel-centric theme of my site here. Give it a read and let me know what you think!
Have a wonderful week, and look forward to my final posts on Bryce and new photos from Norway! Follow my blog for the latest!
