I'm traveling! See the latest at www.bigtinyworld.com!

Happy Friday once more!  Today kicks off Day 1 of my favorite convention, Kumoricon!  Look forward to many pictures from that coming soon.  For now, I should probably be shooting a panel….

I wanted to try something different this week, so I experimented with grid photos!  The idea is that each tile can stand on its own as a photo, but when put together, a larger picture is formed.  This was fun, and while it took considerably more time to organize and plan out my posts, I’m really happy with the result.  Let me know what you think!

This first one was quite simple.  This was from my post this week on my very first bush plane.  As you can tell, these planes are itty bitty!  Read all about that adventure here.

This next one was my only individual image this week.  I like the simplicity of all the leaves, and I’m just a sucker for autumn colors.  It also contrasted nicely when put next to the black and white photo above.

This next one was of a misty mountain in Denali National Park.  I’m a sucker for mist, too 🙂

And finally, my favorite grid this week was a bit more creative.  I liked the contrast of the black and white fall image bisecting the more colorful waterfall (from my response to last week’s challenge, “glow”).

Do you like the new approach?  I’d love to hear your thoughts below!

I post to Instagram daily.  Come over and say hi!
